Keep Texas Running Website Now Posting Links to Media Articles

In order to help keep racing supporters interested in our industry's efforts to get legislation passed to allow video lottery terminals (VLTs) at Texas racetracks informed, links to articles that have been published in the media about our issue are now being posted regularly on the new "In the News" page on the Keep Texas Running website.

Links to new articles are posted several times a week, so it pays to return to Keep Texas Running (www.keeptexasrunning.com) frequently if you want to keep informed on how our issue and our industry is being portrayed in the media.

You can find the "In the News" page on the Keep Texas Running website several ways:

  1. From the Keep Texas Running homepage, click on the banner that contains newspapers and says "Click here to see recent news articles about our issue".
  2. Click on the "Press Room" link in the navigation bar on the left hand side of any page in the Keep Texas Running website. Then click on the banner that contains newspapers and says "Click here to see recent news articles about our issue".
  3. Click here to be directly linked into the Keep Texas Running "In the News" page. NOTE: If the page seems unchanged for several days in a row, be sure to hit the refresh button on your Internet browser to make sure it reloads the current version of the page instead of a cached version from a previous visit.

Some of the links to specific articles change frequently, so please understand that some links may not work. However, we will be checking and updating the links frequently to avoid this problem as much as possible.

While at the Keep Texas Running website, don't forget to take a few minutes to go to the "Political Action Center" and write a letter to your legislators urging support for our VLT legislation. It doesn't matter how many times you have already contacted them - every contact makes a difference. The more they hear from VLT supporters, the better our chances!
