Links to Media Articles In order to help keep racing supporters
interested in our industry's efforts to get legislation passed to allow
video lottery terminals (VLTs) at Texas racetracks informed, links to
articles that have been published in the media about our issue are now
being posted regularly on the new "In the News" page on the
Keep Texas Running website.
Links to new articles are posted several times a week, so it pays to
return to Keep Texas Running (www.keeptexasrunning.com)
frequently if you want to keep informed on how our issue and our industry
is being portrayed in the media.
You can find the "In the News" page on the Keep Texas Running
website several ways:
- From the Keep Texas Running homepage, click on the banner that contains
newspapers and says "Click here to see recent news articles about
our issue".
- Click on the "Press Room" link in the navigation bar on
the left hand side of any page in the Keep Texas Running website. Then
click on the banner that contains newspapers and says "Click here
to see recent news articles about our issue".
- Click here
to be directly linked into the Keep Texas Running "In the News"
page. NOTE: If the page seems unchanged for several days in a row, be
sure to hit the refresh button on your Internet browser to make sure
it reloads the current version of the page instead of a cached version
from a previous visit.
Some of the links to specific articles change frequently, so please understand
that some links may not work. However, we will be checking and updating
the links frequently to avoid this problem as much as possible.
While at the Keep Texas Running website, don't forget to take a few minutes
to go to the "Political Action Center" and write a letter to
your legislators urging support for our VLT legislation. It doesn't matter
how many times you have already contacted them - every contact makes a
difference. The more they hear from VLT supporters, the better our chances! |
