LOPE Texas recently announced that it has received a grant from Thoroughbred Charities of America (TCA). The $3,000 grant will help LOPE care for horses with more serious rehabilitation needs this summer. This is the second consecutive year that LOPE has received a grant from the TCA.

In addition, LOPE announced it's newest sponsor, The Equestrian Network. The Equestrian Network is a prestigious group of equestrian websites with an audience that encompasses every horse discipline, breed, and riding style. Boasting more traffic than most major equestrian websites, their communities average 11 million page views per month. LoneStar Outreach to Place Ex-Racers (LOPE) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit devoted to providing new careers for retiring racehorses of all breeds in Texas. Through its online services and ranch adoption center, LOPE has transitioned over 500 Texas ex-racehorses into new homes since 2003.
