Global Gaming Begins Multi-Million Dollar Renovations with Lone Star Park’s Post Time Pavilion

(Grand Prairie, Texas - July 6, 2011) - Less than two months after receiving the license to operate Lone Star Park, Global Gaming Solutions will begin a multi-million dollar renovation at the facility. The Post Time Pavilion, Lone Star Park’s daily simulcasting facility, will be closed for renovations effective Monday, July 18.

“These renovations and improvements are part of the overall plan that Global Gaming Solutions promised the horsemen and the Texas Racing Commission during the ownership approval process,” said Lone Star Park President and General Manager, Drew Shubeck. “We are thrilled to get them underway and look forward to a much improved product offering in key areas of our operation.”

“Global Gaming Solutions looks forward to these enhancements to improve the operation at Lone Star Park and reenergize the product offering, not only in the Post Time Pavilion, but also the Grandstand and backside areas,” added Global Gaming Solutions CEO, John Elliott.

All simulcasting operations will be relocated to the first and second floors of the main grandstand and remain operational seven days a week. The second floor of the grandstand will be non-smoking and have limited food and beverage service. All retail sales will be run from the main gift shop in the grandstand. Valet Parking will be available.

Post Time Pavilion renovations are anticipated to be complete later this fall. Also, other planned renovations will be announced shortly.
