Over 800 Turn Out for Horsemen's Day at the Capitol

(Austin, Texas - March 31, 2011) - The Texas horse industry made quite an impression at the Texas Capitol today when over 800 supporters turned out to rally on the Capitol steps and then break into groups to visit all 150 Representatives and 31 Senators voicing their support for legislation that would allow the citizens of Texas to vote on whether or not to legalize video lottery gaming at the 13 licensed horse and greyhound racetracks in Texas and provide that the three federally recognized Indian tribes in Texas are not prohibited from operating video lottery machines on their tribal lands.
