Reminder: All Manor Downs Opening Day Starters Need a Race or Work Since January 14

All horsemen - please note that in order to run a horse at Manor Downs, it needs to have had a race or a published work within the last 45 days before the race. Additionally, all first time starters will need a gate work within 45 days and a second work within 90 days of the race. Opening day of Manor Downs' 2009 Mixed Meet is this Saturday, February 28.

All horses entered for opening day, Saturday, February 28, will need to have had a race or work since January 14, 2009. Additionally, first time starters will need a gate work within 45 days and a second work within 90 days (November 30, 2008 or later).

Currently, eight of the 12 horses nominated for the Manor Downs Starter Special #1 need works. In addition, 19 of the nominees for the Maiden Allowance Colts/Geldings also need works.

Be sure that any horses you plan to enter at Manor have the appropriate works.
