At its meeting on December 2, the Texas Racing Commission (TxRC) granted a request by Manor Downs to make a change to its 2009 live racing schedule. The change will not alter the number of days of racing at the annual mixed meet in 2009, just the beginning and ending dates of the meet.

Previously, the TxRC had granted Manor Downs 18 days of live mixed breed racing in 2009, beginning on February 23 and ending on April 19. Manor Downs requested that the start and end date be pushed back one week, so now the 18-day meet will begin on February 28 and end on April 26.
