Retama Park's 2006 Quarter Horse meet is scheduled to open on Friday, April 28 and runs through June 18. Below is some important information that horsemen need to know:

Pre-Race Examination Schedule:

• To begin at 3:00 p.m. on race days with a first post time of 6:45 p.m.
• The Commission vet will be available in the receiving barn between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on race days with a first post time of 6:45 p.m.

• To begin at 9:00 a.m. on days with a first post time of 1:30 p.m.
• The Commission vet will be available in the receiving barn between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on race days with a first post time of 1:30 p.m.

Sunday Post Time Change:

For Retama's 2006 Quarter Horse meet, first post on Sundays will be at 1:30 p.m.

Please note this important change since first post on Sundays has traditionally been at 5:30 p.m.
