(Houston, Texas - March 23, 2011) - Sam Houston Race Park will take entries for it Sunday, April 3, 2011 card on Friday, April 1st. The racing office and the racetrack will be closed on Friday, March 31 so that everyone has an opportunity to attend the Horsemen's Day at the Capitol in Austin.

Please contact the SHRP racing office to let them know if you will be taking the buses or driving your own vehicle to the Horsemen's Day at the Capitol. Agenda for the day and a map is available at the racing office.
