The Field is Set for the Grade 2, Dash For Cash Futurity

(Grand Prairie, Texas - Friday, September 16, 2022) - Opening Night of the 2022 Fall Meeting of Champions featured ten trials to determine the field for the Grade 2, $400,000 (est.) Dash for Cash Futurity.

The fastest qualifying time of the 94 horses in the trials was set by Tha Duke in Race 6. The sorrel gelding is by Rc Me Leaving You, out of Precious Perry Girl, a daughter of Jess Louisiana Blue. Luis Vivanco was in the irons, covering the 400 yards in :19.971 for trainer Raul Rodriguez, Jr. Tha Duke is owned by Ashton Elder and Miguel Romero, Jr..
