It's Back-to-Back Wins for Favorite Rc Me Leaving You in 20th Nevill Document Solutions Stakes Saturday at Lone Star Park

(Grand Prairie, Texas - Saturday, September 23, 2017) - Bennie & Terri Jeter's Rc Me Leaving You looked every part the winner as he made his way into the paddock before the 20th running of the Nevill Document Solutions Stakes. And that's exactly how it played out for the post-time favorite. The five-year-old son of Coronas Leaving You broke well, but it was second place finisher Kid Can Dash who got out first and managed to hold that position until past the halfway point. It was then that the winner showed his class, rallying to win by a neck. Rc Me Leaving You covered the 350-yards in :17.621 over a fast track for a speed index of 96. He joined First Klas Fred (2011-12) the only other horse to win the race two years in a row.

The win was the second Nevill Stakes victory for jockey Rodrigo Vallejo, as well. He won in 2010 aboard Streakin Illusively.

Mutuels returned $4.80, $3.00 and $2.20. Kid Can Dash paid $6.80 and $6.60, and Kraken Black returned $8.20 for show. Jrc Callas First was fourth, while Classified Bulls Eye, Dash Don't Cheat, Sr Esmerelda and Mighty Corona Jr completed the order of finish.

Rc Me Leaving You increased his career earnings to $173,462. This was his sixth win from 23 career starts. Winning trainer was Jimmy Padgett.

Live racing resumes on Thursday, September 28. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. First race 6:35 p.m.
