Skuze Pleeze Fastest Qualifier Saturday Night, Next Stop - $1 Million, Grade 1 Texas Classic Futurity

(Grand Prairie, Texas - Saturday, October 19, 2013) - You've heard the saying about saving the "best for last," well it certainly was the case at Lone Star Park tonight when Skuze Pleeze clocked the fastest time of the night in the final trial, qualifying for the $1 Million Grade 1, Texas Classic Futurity.

With G. R. Carter, Jr. in the irons, the two-year-old gelding by Dashin Bye broke out slightly and bumped with Bp Wagon Train. Halfway through the race, Skuze Pleeze hit another gear and drew off to win by an impressive two lengths. He completed the 400 yards in 19.450 seconds over a fast track earning a speed index of 98. He was one of three qualifiers ridden by Carter, Jr. tonight.

Skuze Pleeze is owned by Joe L. Mills of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and trained by Tana Pace.
