Rc Me Leaving You Victorious in 19th B. F. Phillips Stakes Saturday at Lone Star Park

(Grand Prairie, Texas - Saturday, November 5, 2016) - Another edition of the B. F. Phillips, Jr. Stakes is in the books. Rc Me Leaving You was the victor in the 19th renewal of the 400-yard stake for accredited Texas-breds, three-year-olds & up. The four-year-old son of Coronas Leaving You ran the race in :19.801 seconds over a fast track. Second place went to One Dimple by a neck, and Notavailableinstores finished third by a head.

Trained by Judd Kearl, Rc Me Leaving You was ridden to victory by Noe Villatoro, who was a late rider change. Kearl saddled the winner of three races on the Saturday night card.

Mutuels on the winner returned $6.80, $2.20 and $2.80. Place paid $9.40 and $3.40. Show paid $3.40.

Favorite, Kw Cowboy finished fourth, Blue Duck La Jolla, Kid Can Dash and Iknow Heknows Iknow completed the order of finish. Apollitical Wave and Governor Pete were both late scratches.

With the winners share of the purse, Rc Me Leaving You has bankrolled a total of $150,402, and his updated record reads 19-5-4-5.

With just one more weekend of live racing remaining in Lone Star Park's 2016 Fall Meeting of Champions, it will soon be time to recognize the leading jockey, trainer and owner of the meet. The standings through the end of racing Saturday, November 5 have Francisco Calderon sitting atop the jockey standings with 27 wins over Luis Vivanco who has 25 wins. Calderon had two four-win nights this week. He won four on Thursday, November 3 and another four on Saturday November 5. Judd Kearl still sits atop the national standings and holds the lead at the meet with 24 wins over Trey Wood who has 20. Terry and Irene Stennett lead the owner standings with a total of eight wins over Pete Scarmardo, who has 5.

Live racing resumes for the final weekend of the meeting on Thursday, November 10. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. First race post time is 6:35 p.m.
