Abrams' Sixes Liaison emerged as the fastest qualifier, dueling with Aquafina all the way before pulling away for a three-quarters of a length triumph in :17.795. The gray colt by Sixes Royal out of the Streakin La Jolla mare Streakin Liaison earned a Speed Index of 95 for his effort. He is trained by Bobby Martinez and was ridden to victory by Saul Ramirez, Jr.
